Article IV - Membership
  The church shall welcome into its membership any person who:
  1. testifies of a personal experience of being born again through acceptance of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior (John 1:12).
  2. accepts and affirms the Church’s doctrinal statement, as outlined in Article III of this document.

Anyone desiring membership in the church shall meet with a member of the Board of Elders (or designated members) who will inquire into the person’s qualifications for membership. Member-ship in the church shall entitle a person to vote on all matters presented to the church for a vote. 

Article V - Meetings, Fiscal Year
  There shall be an annual meeting of the church to be held in San Antonio, Texas, each September, on a date to be set by the Board of Elders.  In addition, the Board of Elders or the church membership may call a special meeting.  All meetings and all pertinent information on agenda items requiring a vote shall be announced and made public two consecutive Sundays prior to the meeting date.  The Fiscal year of this church shall begin October 1st and shall end September 30.
Article VI - Government
  Section 1 - Congregation
The legislative and governing body of this church shall be the congregation, through an elected Board of Elders.  This Board is accountable to the Church congregation and may act on all matters within the limits stated in the By-Laws without consulting the congregation. 

In the absence of an elected Board of Elders, the governing body shall be a temporary board appointed by the congregation.

  Section 2 - Elders
An Elder shall meet the qualifications as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. He shall agree to the Constitution and the By-Laws of the church, as contained in this document.

An Elder shall be elected to a two year term of office.  An Elder may succeed himself in office.

  Section 3 - Pastors
A man selected to the pastoral staff position of Senior or Associate Pastor shall serve on that staff, and as an elder, for an indefinite term. To designate a member of the Pastoral staff as a Senior or Associate Pastor will require a 2/3 majority of the votes cast at a church business meeting.
  Section 4 - Deacons
Deacons shall be appointed by the Board of Elders and ratified by the Church to take care of ministry and management responsibilities within the church. Such individuals will be under the authority of the Board of Elders and the congregation.  They will serve terms of two years, and may succeed themselves in their ministry. 

For legal purposes in the State of Texas, the Deacons in this corporation shall also be known as Trustees.
